As one of the largest providers of Live-in care on the island we understand the dilemma when you reach the stage where you need more than a few hours a day of care, but don’t want to compromise your quality of life or leave your own home.
That’s why our Live-in care package, where one of our qualified Carers lives with you in your home, is designed to meet your unique needs, providing bespoke around-the-clock personal care and support, all delivered within the comfort of your own home.
Our Live-in Carers either reside on-island or are a short skip away in France or the UK. Most are British so will be familiar with your favourite foods and TV programmes!
We are always committed to safeguarding our clients’ and Carers’ wellbeing, so we monitor all our Carers’ hours and our Live-ins usually work on nothing longer than 2-3 week rotations. We want you to receive the best quality care and looking after our Carers plays a large part in ensuring this.
Our friendly Live-in care team offers support from companionship to complex care, tailored to your unique needs.

Our Care Assessment involves meeting to find out about you, including your likes and dislikes, routines and the types of support you need. By getting to know you at this stage, we can also consider who from our Live-in Care team might be best suited to support you.
From this initial information, we’ll draft a Care Plan with you and, as necessary, your family and other healthcare professionals. This will form the basis for your initial trial, guiding our Live-In Carer on how to support you each day.
Once we’ve agreed on your Care Plan, we’ll arrange a Trial Period, usually two weeks, so you can experience Live-In Care for yourself. During this stage, we’ll also make any adjustments necessary to ensure you’re gaining the most from your care provision. At all times during the trial period, you can make suggestions and recommendations, either directly with your Carer or by simply calling our Live-in Supervisor or Care Manager.
At the end of the Trial Period, we’ll meet with you again to review the trial and discuss whether you wish to make the placement more permanent. If you choose to proceed, we’ll finalise the Care Plan and your Live-In Care package will officially begin.
Live-in care is suitable for individuals or couples whose home offers at least one spare room and bathroom.
It is often financially comparable with residential care but, crucially, offers one-on-one care and quality of life that is difficult to achieve outside of your home. We also believe that residential care is arguably a bigger adjustment, as clients need to get used to new surroundings, often a new timetable and multiple Carers all at the same time.
Live-in care can be arranged on an ongoing basis or may only be a needed as short-term requirement, for example, for a few weeks after an operation.
Typically, two or three Carers will work in rotation for 2 to 3 weeks at a time. The Carer does need some time off each day, but cover can be provided if required. We may also introduce you to other Carers to allow for holidays and sickness leave.
We pride ourselves on carefully matching our clients and Carers. However, if at any time you feel that the Carer in residence is not a good match, you can simply call us and we will visit to resolve any issues or ensure that particular Carer is replaced in your future roster. We are proud of our very successful track record of matching Carers to clients.
All our staff are qualified, experienced and undergo enhanced police checks. All have at minimum the thirteen mandatory trainings required by the Jersey Care Commission (JCC) with whom we are registered; most have completed additional studies. Those who are not Jersey-based live in the UK or France and all speak English as their first language.
Our managers are always on the end of the telephone and the service is subject to ongoing review. Normally we conduct formal care plan reviews at one, three and six months and then every six months thereafter. This means our support can change alongside your needs.
